Every good site designs includes quality graphics optimized for the web. This means that all the images, including photos, are optimized to load quickly yet still be high quality images. Many images you see online, especially photos, take a long time to load. These photos have not been optimized for the web.

Photo Retouching

Photo retouching means resizing and repurposing your photos to load quickly and take the least amount of space on the web server. Every time someone visits your site, the files that make up the site load and “cost” bandwidth. The larger the file sizes are, the longer it takes for the site pages to load. If photos take too long to load, or there are too many photos on one page, you may find site visitors just leave.

All the design packages include photo retouching, but if you have a lot of photos that need to be optimized for the web, there may be an additional fee involved.

Logos and Site Headers

Many sites have a graphical representation of the company logo or just show the site name (or domain name) in graphical text format. A professional site logo or header will make your site visitors feel more confident that your content is also high quality – and that gives buyers confidence.

Site logos/headers start at $75 and up. Price depends on the complexity, number of text colors and size of your logo.

Graphical Banners

Though search engines cannot “read” the text on graphics, they can still read the description of the graphic in the html code – if you use it. Many sites offer banner ad placement, usually at a fee. But some sites still like to share banner links to other sites. While I don’t recommend actively acquiring or sharing graphical banners for SEO purposes, a lot of folks still like to see the “eye candy”.

The industry standard banner size is 468×60 pixels (widthxheight), but I can provide many different sizes based on Google’s typical Adsense sizes.
